- Conservation and Stewardship
I believe, as President Theodore Roosevelt did, that conservation is a deeply American value. The farms, forests, rivers, and hunting lands we enjoy are part of our national heritage, and it is our duty to protect them for the next generation. Clean water to fish in, clean air to breathe, and healthy land to farm are blessings we must safeguard.
I support responsible land use and practical conservation—policies that respect private property, protect our outdoor traditions, and keep government out of the way of those who know the land best: the people who live and work on it. By protecting our natural resources with common sense and care, we preserve not only our environment but also our way of life.
- The Second Amendment
I am a steadfast supporter of the Second Amendment. The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental freedom that protects all of our other freedoms. We don’t need more infringements or massive regulations that punish law-abiding citizens. What we need is a culture of responsibility, where safety and respect are the norm.
Firearms are a part of our history and heritage—whether for hunting, sport, or protection—and they should be handled with the seriousness they deserve. By promoting common-sense safety, awareness, and respect, we can preserve both our freedoms and our traditions without government overreach.
Though I’ve never personally owned a gun, I deeply respect those who do, and I will always stand firm in defending the rights of responsible gun owners.
- Workers and Wages
Blue-collar jobs are the backbone of America—skilled, essential, and too often undervalued. I believe every worker deserves fair wages, safe working conditions, and the respect their labor has earned. I am proud to stand with unions that give working men and women a voice, because every day should be treated like Labor Day. No one should live in fear of losing their livelihood without cause, which is why I oppose at-will employment and support policies that put workers and their families first. When we lift up the American worker, we strengthen the whole nation.
- Equality
Our nation was born from the bold declaration that all men and women are created equal, endowed by their Creator with the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Those words are not just history—they are a promise to every generation of Americans. Each time we pledge allegiance, we renew our commitment to “liberty and justice for all.”
Equality is the heart of our unity and the soul of our freedom. It reminds us that no matter where we come from, we stand together as one nation under God. It calls us to ensure that every American has the chance to live free, to work hard, and to dream big. That is the promise of America—and it is a promise I will always fight to uphold.
- Supporting Law Enforcement
I believe our police do an outstanding job protecting our communities, often under difficult circumstances. They deserve not only our gratitude but also the resources to do their jobs effectively. That means hiring and training more officers so they are not stretched too thin, and ensuring they have the tools and support needed to keep our neighborhoods safe. Strong law enforcement isn’t just about enforcement—it’s about building trust, protecting families, and keeping order so that every community can thrive.
